You may wonder what wellness or wellness coaching is. Wellness is does not just mean the absence of disease or health challenge. Wellness coaching is the application of an ever-changing process of health enrichment, health promotion, lifestyle enhancement with the continuous support and accountability. This can be achieved by making lasting, sustainable improvements and lifestyle behavioral changes with the help of a trained coach. That’s me!

As your wellness coach, I am your ally and advocate. I serve and support you to consciously take charge of your life by us co-creating a wellness personalized action plan. Striving for a well-lived life and harmonious well-being involves engaging the whole person with a holistic approach and multi-focal approach - social, physical (i.e., fitness, nutrition, rest), emotional, occupational, intellectual, environmental, spiritual, recreational and financial. We’ll acknowledge your strengths, identify challenges and get a clear picture of the current state of your health and well life vision.  Achieving real lifestyle improvements and the well-life you envision for yourself is a journey, therefore we will work together through the action steps and keep you accountable to yourself. The focus will be finding satisfaction in these aforementioned focal areas, finding a sense of peace, meaning, purpose and enjoyment in your life. Live your Pleasure! As I say, Master your Peace, Purpose and Pleasure by putting your heath first!

I will guide you by tracking your progress, celebrating and evaluating your success. Through my background in biomedicine, women’s health, cancer prevention and public health, I may integrate my knowledge, resources and health professional referrals when necessary or desired.

HER Wellness Coaching for Individuals

  • One-on-one session consists of a 60-minute virtual phone session 

    • 45 minutes – exploration and health & wellness assessment/inventory of the client, determining areas of focus, priorities, desires, identifying successes, opportunities challenges, strategies to meet or overcome challenges, identify sources of support and accountability 

    • 15 minutes – wrap-up and review, action steps and commitments

  • Lifestyle support and navigation of chronic conditions and diseases and acquisition of plant-based diet/lifestyle

*Upon request with additional costs in-person sessions are available inside and an 8-mile radius of the Atlanta I-285 perimeter. 

  • Dr. Teri can accompany a client to

    • Health care appointments and reviews a lifestyle prescription with the client and their provider

    • Grocery store tour and wellness shop for a hands-on educational experience

  • Receive two “on call” all access passes to reach out to Dr. Teri via video application (within 30 days of the session) 

Individual coaching session prices start at $65 per session ($330 – 3 months)

  • Option 1:  One-time session (book month to month or as needed)

  • Option 2:  3 months with bi-weekly sessions (total of 6 sessions) 

*Additional $20-$35 for an in-person session. Schedule these at least 2 weeks in advance.

Wellness Coaching for Groups

  • 60-90 minute in-person session with 5-20 members of the organization

  • Co-create and build a wellness working environment (utilizing wellness inventory and assessments)

  • Live interactive demonstration of a sustainable fitness, healthy eating and/or mindfulness exercise to incorporate in the organization’s workflow

  • Provide access or make recommendations to free and affordable resources, tools, local programs and health care professionals that support healthy choices and behaviors (i.e., exercise, nutrition, mental health counseling)

  • One-on-one session discounts for members
