What is Breast Thermography?

In July 2015, my physician referred me to get a thermogram as a part of my breast health regimen at ThermaLife. I personally believe that one must take control of their health by knowing their family health history, being informed and accessing multiple approaches to ensure holistic and comprehensive care. Thermography is utilized as an adjunctive infrared imaging procedure that monitors temperature variations and blood vessel alterations produced by the earliest changes in the tissue that may be or are indicative of abnormalities. This early detection method's reports thermal heat emissions suggest potential risk markers only and do not in any way suggest diagnosis and/or treatment. If a report (thermogram) indicates abnormalities (markers -TH 3-5) one needs to receive further observation and a diagnostic procedure (i.e., biopsy)

Thermography is not a new procedure and has been FDA approved, is painless, uses no radiation, no contact and affordable. It is used to detect and monitor other chronic diseases in the thyroid, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal system.

Again, this is not a substitute to other detection methods such as mammography and ultrasound. It is a complementary, highly sensitive method and has been recommended for women of all ages to use routinely beginning at 20. Be informed! Be empowered!  Get the "Breast Protection" 💕 You're worth it!
